My family has been involved in the breed since 2012 and we bred our first litter in 2020 with the help of some wonderful breeder mentors and friends. We are members of the PWDCA and also serve on the board of the PWDCTC. We are located in Baldwin, WI just over the border from the twin cities.

 

Our goal is to strive to keep alive the working spirit of this special breed. Portuguese Water Dogs are a passion for us and we only breed to improve upon our lines and strive to help improve the breed in general. So for this reason, we may not have a litter every year, but we breed for a purpose. When you take home one of our puppies you become family!

Our puppies are exposed to a household environment and receive lots of love and attention. We use Puppy Culture with our puppies to prepare them for their new homes. We utilize the following enrichment methods: crate/potty training, household desensitization and socialization. Before all puppies go home they go through temperament testing and structural evaluations as we are looking for future breeding/performance prospects and ensuring you are matched with the best puppy for your family and goals. This breed excels at Water Work, Nose Work, Agility as well as other sports.

To breed healthy dogs with sound temperaments, structurally sound, working drive and are great family members is most important. Before breeding we do all required health testing per the PWDCA and all health information can be found on AKC, OFA.org and the PWDCA Health and Litter database for our dogs. We do a thorough evaluation of all prospective homes whether it's a pet home, show home or performance home.
